Hello, I'm Dave Vincent, one of the visionary founders of Access Radiation Oncology. Thanks for considering partnering with us. I mean that in every sense of the word. Access Radiation Oncology exists because of the passion we share as a team to provide the very best curative, value-based, patient-centered care in combatting this terrible disease we call "cancer." It really does effect or touch all of us in one way or another doesn't it? So then, why don't we join our collective forces to do just that, combat it and provide "access" to the best cancer care for patients and their families regardless of whether they live in a big city or in a rural community, and do it in 5 days or less vs. 6-8 weeks?

In 1998, I co-founded Gammawest Cancer Services with Dr. John K. Hayes, truly a remarkable, compassionate, and visionary physician. Headquartered in Salt Lake City and spanning a period of 25 years, Gammawest physicians and associated cancer center partners have provided curative cancer treatment and care utilizing powerful anti-cancer tools across Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Wyoming. In the process, developing a tremendous amount of goodwill in so many communities.
Those strategic alignments included HCA Healthcare, Steward Healthcare, and Independent Community Hospitals across these geographies as well as owning freestanding centers and clinics in more rural areas. Gammawest physicians and cancer centers have treated thousands of patients over a period of two + decades across this geographic footprint.
Our specialty is now experiencing a true paradigm shift with the advent of MR Linacs that utilize AI and MRI guidance...adapting to tumors with auto-gating, and sparing normal tissue better than we ever have before...all in 5 days! That is great news! Wouldn't you like your friend or loved one to have "Access" to this kind of cancer treatment?
I know I have never seen anything like this in my career and I am very excited, motivated, and enthused to be a part of it! Today, ARO is currently involved in driving a large-scale national effort to bring this new technology with its accompanied “hope” to cancer patients and their families across our country and beyond its borders. In addition to this effort, I dedicate the time necessary in taking personal calls helping to navigate newly diagnosed cancer patients in my ever-increasing social network and guiding them to "access" curative treatment by putting them in the hands of skilled, dedicated practitioners who utilize best practices and technology to alleviate suffering.
At Access Radiation Oncology, we thrive on never having a "bad" meeting with potential partners because we are all about doing "good!" That is our Mantra!

Ritchie Stevens MD
CMO - Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Ritchie Stevens grew up a violinist and son of a University Professor (piano) and an Entomologist in Northern Colorado. On a music scholarship, he attended Colorado State University, where he also competed on the varsity tennis team throughout his undergraduate career. After attending the University of Colorado School of Medicine and graduating in1986, he completed an internship at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco. He continued his training via residency program in Radiation Oncology at the University of California, Irvine thru 1990. There, he worked alongside the world renowned brachytherapist, Dr. Nisar Syed, in Long Beach and spent nearly a year training at the City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, CA.
In October 1990, he accepted a position with Radiology Specialists in the Las Vegas valley. His career began at Sunrise Hospital, where his expertise in brachytherapy quickly grew into one of the largest radiation implant practices within the western United States, focusing on prostate (LDR and HDR) and gynecological malignancies. For 3 decades his services within the Radiation Oncology field in Southern Nevada remained a dominant force while during the latter years, his interest became increasingly focused towards shortened treatment schemes for patient convenience and diminished side effects.
In the fall of 2022, Dr. Stevens retired from clinical practice after 32 years to join the Executive Development Team at Access Radiation Oncology as its Chief Medical Officer. With a goal of creating improved access to advanced therapies for greater numbers of patients, this new position allows him to further the already established momentum of hypofractionation and adaptive therapies within his medical discipline; ultimately improving cancer outcomes and treatment related morbidity through MRI guided Radiation Therapy techniques (MRgRT).

Erick Gonzales
Chief Business Development Officer
Erick Gonzales joined Access Radiation Oncology in January, 2023 as Chief Business Development Officer having over 22 years of experience in medical device and cancer therapy business development. Most recently, Mr. Gonzales served as Sr. Director of Business Development for ViewRay, a start-up developing next-generation cancer therapy utilizing MR Linac technology.
Erick's expertise in Business Development also includes tenure as VP of Business Development of DermEbx where he championed business development projects focusing on NMSC (non-melanoma skin cancer) in the dermatology oncology market. Mr. Gonzales has also worked as Sr. Director of Business Development at Xoft Inc. where he developed a market strategy to integrate (IORT-1 day) radiotherapy with breast surgical oncologists to improve breast cancer treatment.
